Stop Calling It a Setback — It’s a Setup for Strategy
There’s something powerful about realizing that what looked like a setback was actually God’s strategy.
Sometimes, He has to pause your plans to prepare your platform. You think you’re losing momentum, but really, God’s protecting you from something that would’ve drained your purpose.
That failed relationship? Strategy.
That closed door? Strategy.
That delay that made you question your calling? Still strategy.
We label things “failure” because they don’t fit our timeline, but God operates in divine timing — not deadlines.
When He said, “All things work together for good,” (Romans 8:28) He meant all things — even the ones that embarrassed you, broke you, or left you starting over from scratch.
Every detour has purpose.
Every pause has a reason.
Every disappointment is teaching you discipline, discernment, and direction.
So no, you’re not behind. You’re just being built differently.
And when the door finally opens, you’ll realize God was never denying you — He was designing the right room for you to walk into.
The next time you’re tempted to call it a setback, pause and say —
“This is strategy. Divine Strategy!!! God’s setting me up for something greater.”
